Sold-out event raises money for Butte County firefighters

 Jan 27, 2019

The 19th annual Crab Feed for the Butte County Firefighters Burn and Benevolent Fund was a sold-out event on January 26, 2019. Though the first 13 years of the event weren’t as successful, the last six years of the annual Crab Feed have been a big success. The 2019 Crab Feed supported the firefighters and first responders affected by the Camp Fire.  Around 250 Cal Fire families were directly affected by the devastating fire. Firefighters lose homes while on front lines of Camp Fire

Nov 12, 2018

About 250 Cal Fire families were directly affected by the November 2018 Camp Fire. Those firefighters were out fighting the disastrous fire while their homes were burning and their lives were upturned. Although they were just blocks away from their own homes, the firefighters chose to stay on their missions to end the destruction.
